Sammy The Bear - A Magical Walk Through Time

Always believe in magic – you are never too old to dream...Benjamin always had a dream to sail on the open sea and seek adventure beyond the lighthouse. However, he wouldn’t have to wait too long as his grandfather Albert purchases a dream gift of Sammy the vintage teddy bear who brings Benjamin on the trip of a lifetime – with so much history, a sense of wonder, magic with unspoken romance and love. This is only the first of many adventures of Sammy the Bear.

Anita is an Irish optometrist who returned to writing as a past-time during the COVID19 pandemic. The story is based on real-life events, including the main character Sammy the Bear. Sammy is a large, life-sized vintage bear almost 90 years old – he holds many secrets and is full of history. Sammy has also journeyed across from Ireland to the Isle of Man on 1st January 2021 where Anita travelled as a frontline medical worker. This story is just the beginning of Sammy’s adventures as Anita brings him to life and hopefully will be read and enjoyed by many.
