Our perspectives in life are ever-changing, influenced by the people with whom we spend time, the experiences we encounter, and the challenges we face. How these factors affect our minds and emotions ultimately depends on us. While others may impact our viewpoints, the power to shape our perspectives ultimately lies within us. However, occasionally, we all need guidance or a nudge towards self-realisation. These ‘guardian angels’ can manifest in various forms, be it a colleague, a neighbour, or even a beloved pet. Often, we may not immediately recognize their influence, but suddenly, clarity emerges, and we gain the insight we’ve been seeking. In these moments of revelation, we might find ourselves laughing or crying in disbelief, wondering, ‘How did it take me so long to see this?’

Rebecca Ladd started her writing journey when she started a personal blog to manage the anxiety issues she was facing at the time until she eventually moved on to writing short stories. She has always had a passion for reading which encouraged her to try writing herself. Rebecca currently lives with her twin sister and their two cats in Essex.

Rebecca is such a versatile writer! I couldn’t believe the range of emotions I felt from one book. 3 different stories, each captivating in a different way. The first making me think about life on a deeper level, the second making me laugh as I could relate, and the third making me turn the pages at the speed of lightening at the edge of my seat. Hope to see more from this very talented author!
