From a small town, Callan, County Kilkenny, in the Republic of Ireland, Philip William Bryan currently lives in the city of Guiyang in the Guizhou Province of the People’s Republic of China, where he works as an English and a physical education teacher. He is currently working at the Number One High School of Guiyang. He spent many years prior working in the retail industry specifically managing forecourt and service stations.

After a life-changing trip to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in 2015, he has changed his lifestyle around completely. He no longer is a prisoner of the Monday to Friday nine to five routine but now enjoys a rewarding and fulfilling life in China, where he has been since 2016. His travel stories are based on his own experiences and life.

Ever since that trip to Jordan and the inspiring people he met there, his attitude and way of life have changed dramatically.
