The Adventures Of Flora Bee: Spies by Rhodri Davies is an other charming book in the series for young children.
The winning formula begun in book one continues – double pages with six rhyming couplets and illustrations. It appeals to all, with its’ familiarity. We know that the words will bounce along and the illustrations by Rob Anderson will be charming.
I particularly liked the bees dressed as spies and the picture of the villain with the cat on his lap.
There is a moral to be learnt – do not steal or copy others, design your own work.
I thoroughly love The Adventures Of Flora Bee series. The tales appeal to any age and are timeless. It is a series that can be passed down the generations.
I received a free copy from the publishers. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.
