Joe Burnett, a children’s book author, finds his peaceful brainstorming session in a local park unexpectedly interrupted, propelling him into the heart of a global scientific conspiracy. While seeking solitude to gather thoughts for his much-anticipated third book, Joe stumbles upon a sinister plot shrouded in secrecy. This conspiracy aims to obscure the true nature of COVID, safeguarding vast financial interests at all costs. As he delves deeper, Joe’s journey to expose the truth not only unveils the enormity of the scheme but also awakens buried memories from his own past. These resurfaced memories become his arsenal, providing the insight and resilience needed to protect his loved ones from the looming dangers of his discoveries.

Joe lives with his wife and their dog in the southeast of England, near their daughter and two grandchildren. With strong family connections to the northeast of England, they spend the rest of their time near the beautiful beaches around the mouth of the River Wear. His first two books, Thank You, Ellie, and Thank You, Grace, were written as stories for his granddaughter and to commemorate a much-loved family pet.
