Elisabeth Doyle began her working career as a Montessori teacher in the Republic of Ireland where she discovered her passion for reading story books to nursery children. After nine years in the Republic of Ireland, Elisabeth moved to the United Kingdom, where she worked as an early years practitioner for over fifteen years, during which she dreamt of one day writing her own children’s story book. That dream was finally realised in 2023 when she decided to pay homage to her best four-legged friend, Sam or Sammy Puppy Doggy, the hero of The Big Friendly Wolf.
