The world is cruel. Lycans have enslaved humans. Killing them as they please, calling their slaves toys. The king and his sons, known to be the worst of them all. But in all that cruelty, a girl was born. Deep in the woods, amongst a group of humans calling themselves the resistance. Elizabeth was stubborn, fearless and never strayed from danger. But Elizabeth was also born blind. Due to her puny and innocent appearance most felt a need to protect her, while others only saw her as an obstacle. Her childhood friend Aiden was the only one who believed in Elizabeth’s ability, keeping his promise to her late mother, that he would train her. One day when they least expected it, there was an attack on the resistance. Elizabeth and Aiden got separated from the rest. In the chaos Elizabeth was captured, brought to the castle where no one returns. A place full of new enemies and a single friend proves to be Elizabeth’s new life. Will she make it out alive? Or die horribly like so many before her?

Lisa Blank is a 23-year-old newly debuted author. She lives in a small town in Denmark, enjoying many walks in nature with her dog. Lisa has Autism and PTSD, and has always used books to escape from reality, sometimes finding herself writing her own stories if a book fell short for her. This evolved into a hobby, and thereafter a passion for creating stories that others could escape into; stories where the limitations of reality don’t exist.
