The author was born in Yorkshire in the market town of Malton, and now lives in Suffolk. Retired, she enjoys walking, her head always abuzz with stories. In 2002, she wrote her first fantasy tale. The sequel followed almost two decades later. And now, The Disappearance of Amaryllis August, is her debut novel.
Pam is an excellent writer and the tale of Amarylis August is a gripping one. Normally read a book in a week or so, but this kept me enthralled and I forsook other things I needed to do to finish it in a day .

The book is well written and deserves a wide readership.
One of best books I’ve read in a long time, couldn’t put it down & didn’t want it to end.
