Jean Cross, grew up in Coventry but now lives in Buckinghamshire. Jean has two children and three grandchildren whom she treasures. She worked in schools both as a classroom teacher and a headteacher. Later in her career, she helped to establish and then managed the operations of what became one of the largest independent school and day nursery groups in the UK. She is now retired but remains passionate about nurturing confidence and happiness in young children.
This is an engaging book, the easy read text is in a modern style and
there are colourful illustrations on alternate pages. It has Santa
telling his own life history in the form of a letter. This inevitably
includes elves & reindeer, but also tells why Rudolf has a red nose and
how presents are delivered to all homes just in one night. All young
children will enjoy reading it, or having it read to them whilst they
identify the story in the pictures. Likely welcomed in all
Santa-believing homes.
