Inky Pinky is Fairyland’s favourite elf. With his rainbow-coloured paints, he brings life to all the birds, flowers and trees. When he upsets the fairy queen by having fun with a feather, she sends him away. Whatever will happen next?

David King was born in Broken Hill in western New South Wales, Australia, in 1955, and spent his formative years in Canberra and Sydney. Having had four children and then thirteen grandchildren, he has had plenty of experience with both children and story-telling.

A beautifully written children’s book that sparks little ones’ imaginations while teaching them the colours of the rainbow. Mischief has its consequences but is ultimately forgiven - a wonderful lesson for children to learn gently while being enraptured by the colours and story in Fairyland. A favourite in our house already!
