Pablo is a hardworking, upstanding police officer, proud of his long marriage and lovely family. Through decades of quiet dedication and single-minded devotion he has achieved the successes one strives for in life, both with his family and career. Close to retirement and to sitting back and enjoying the fruits of a successful career and marriage, a malicious spurious complaint at work should have no material consequences on his life, but it starts a domino effect, and before long he finds himself shockingly dismissed, divorced, without a home, and with a criminal record. This story explores a convoluted tragic journey of divorce, rich with emotion, loss, betrayal, revenge and confusion. Along the way it explores the dynamics of what makes a relationship weak and vulnerable, or strong and resolute. It’s not a miserable story, but one of resilience, hope, and true love. It is told with an immense depth of feeling, insight, humour and faith, and there are many truly surprising twists and turns as the story unfolds.

The author is a retired police officer who has had a lot of life experience. He was married to his first wife for thirty years and they raised four children. Following a divorce, he married again and divorced just three years later. Apart from writing, he plays the piano, loves gardening and has carried out a lot of DIY building projects in his spare time. He is a ‘people person’, and has always taken a keen interest in behavioural psychology and relationships.

Till Death We Do Part is the title of the book. Do you want to know why the author kept this title then read this?

Till Death We Do Part is a story of a police officer Pablo and the story is realistic. One Complaint completely changed his life and he was on the roads.

But still, he was strong and fighting all odds. I again felt that "Life is unpredictable" and anything can happen at any moment.

Pablo is really a very strong character. There are tears in my eyes while reading this story. it is really very emotional.

After completing this book I understood that there is a second part of this book and only after reading this book we can relate the title to the story.

Pablo is a hard-working police officer and is very proud of his long marriage and lovely family. A complaint from work starts a domino effect and he finds himself dismissed from work, divorced, without a home and a criminal record.

It is a very fast-paced book, and the language is simple, the flow is lucid. It is more of a character-driven book as the story is mainly about the married life of Pablo and Delilah, his wife. I loved the way the characters were portrayed, especially Pablo and his consistent hope to fix the marriage. Towards the end, I came to resent Delilah's character, and that means that the author did a great job such that the readers can connect to the story well.

I expected a little more about the complaint and some plots from work, outside of his married life. And the conclusion of the book is left hanging in the air, so it was more of a 'what you perceive' end.

Overall, as a debut book, this is a great job by the author. For the first 30 pages, I was very slow with the book but later on, it's a book you can't put down until you reach the end.

Author narrated in a way that you can't stop reading the book in the middle. The story is one of the best stories that I have read.

I can feel all the emotions while reading. I felt that anything can happen at any time and there is no secure life which every human runs for.

In this story, Pablo is Protagonist and loses everything. His family is shattered and he was on the roads. One Complaint against him changed his life.

I can't reveal more about the story but I can say it is worth reading. If you love to read fictional books then you'll love reading this book.

The book 'Til Death We Do Part' by Bruno Beaches is a read about complicated marriages and the relationship dynamics between a husband and wife. This book follows the story of the protagonist Pablo, who is a hardworking and upstanding police officer. When a spurious complaint is filed against him, his marital life falls apart. He and his wife Delilah then try to navigate their broken marriage.

This is a riveting read, though it is difficult to understand some of the actions taken by the protagonist in the story. However, the narrative structure of the book is good, and the language used is elegant, yet simple. The book also has an easy-going writing style.

The book is an emotional read and has descriptions of how the protagonist navigates his relationship and tries every effort to save his marriage. This book forays into many themes like divorce, dysfunctional families, resilience, vulnerability, hope, and perseverance. This emotional roller-coaster of a read should be read by those wanting to read a book from a genre delving into these themes.

Till Death We Do Part written by Bruno Beaches is a beautiful yet melancholic love story that takes the reader on an exciting roller coaster ride. Pablo is a middle-aged cop who is dedicated to his duty nearing retirement age. He is proud to live the life he always dreamed of with his beloved wife, perfect family and successful career. He has a wonderful wife and 4 children. Then suddenly came a turning point in history that challenged all his happiness and beliefs about a happy married life. He was accused of harassing one of his clients, which damaged his career, reputation and family. Within days, he found himself surprisingly fired, divorced and homeless in no time along with a criminal record.

What happened to the client? Are the accusations true? Will his wife come back to him? Read the book and you will get answers to all the questions in the book. I never knew I could enjoy a simple story like this. It's all realistic.

This is a character-based book where Pablo as the protagonist is strong and I really like the character, as well as the secondary characters. They are well made. I liked the plot and found it unique.

The author does a great job of telling the story with an engaging narrative and realistic descriptions that make it more interesting. It is a story of love, life, sound and how time can change everything in life.

The writing style is simple and easy to read. The language is simple and easy to understand. Overall for me, it was a good read.

Pablo Pinkerton had it all a great job, a loving family and peace of mind. A police officer by profession he was simply proud of himself. His job was to monitor druggies and help them to get back to real life and prevent them from committing more crimes.

He loves his wife Delilah and their four children. A call to his superior's office changes everything. A client of his has a complaint against him. He knew it was a spurious complaint that had no legs to stand. He was so wrong.

This starts a domino effect that changes his life. The story revolves around Pablo's life. A story of love, desperation, heartbreak, growth and perhaps a bit of hatred. You feel sad for Pablo at times and at times want to shake some sense into his head. An optimist that never stops to see the silver lining, he most times forgets to see reality. He seems conceited at times and forgets about others. You hate him at times and feel sorry for his plight the next minute. A tragic love story with twists and turns in simple language. If it's your cup of tea, grab a copy soon!

We are introduced to a character called Pablo who is an upright police officer who has lived by his principles throughout his life and was supposed to retire on a professionally high note. He has a successful marriage of 30 years behind him and he is loved and respected by his peers and family alike. This is the definition of a fulfilling life of a good person. Well, life doesn't always flow as you wish, isn't it! One fine day Pablo was charged with sexual harassment complaint by one of his female clients and then his life started going downhill. Within a wink of an eye, he lost his reputation and job and trouble started brewing at his home. Not only his marriage was failing, but Pablo also realized that his wife is cheating on him.

The question is was Pablo really an upright officer?
Was his marriage a façade or did he really have a loving marriage before the assault charges took his peace away?

The plot is very unconventional where the author has focused on creating an atmosphere of suspense as well as touching upon the topic of the fragility of relationship, reputation and betrayal. It takes years to build relations and reputation but doesn't take seconds to break it apart. I really enjoyed the depth of the storyline and the beautiful manner in which the author has elucidated various emotions. The only thing that put me off was the slow pace at the initial stage and also I feel that the sentence constructions could have been better.
Overall, Til Death We Do Part is an apt title with a good storyline which did a double-take on the marriage vow.
