Pablo is a hardworking, upstanding police officer, proud of his long marriage and lovely family. Through decades of quiet dedication and single-minded devotion he has achieved the successes one strives for in life, both with his family and career. Close to retirement and to sitting back and enjoying the fruits of a successful career and marriage, a malicious spurious complaint at work should have no material consequences on his life, but it starts a domino effect, and before long he finds himself shockingly dismissed, divorced, without a home, and with a criminal record. This story explores a convoluted tragic journey of divorce, rich with emotion, loss, betrayal, revenge and confusion. Along the way it explores the dynamics of what makes a relationship weak and vulnerable, or strong and resolute. It’s not a miserable story, but one of resilience, hope, and true love. It is told with an immense depth of feeling, insight, humour and faith, and there are many truly surprising twists and turns as the story unfolds.

The author is a retired police officer who has had a lot of life experience. He was married to his first wife for thirty years and they raised four children. Following a divorce, he married again and divorced just three years later. Apart from writing, he plays the piano, loves gardening and has carried out a lot of DIY building projects in his spare time. He is a ‘people person’, and has always taken a keen interest in behavioural psychology and relationships.

One has to read this wonderful thought provoking book to get the entire story.

The author has done a great job in talking about drugs and the side effects, in the beginning he did talk about 5 people and their overdose, it did have an impact on me mentally, I felt sad, scared, sorry for their families and a whole lot more, hence I would say it's an emotional book too.

Then the author also touches on topics like work ethics, family, friends, courage, resilience and life struggles or life journey in general.

The book is easy to read as the language is pretty much simple. The description of people and places and events are very well done. I also feel a lot of though has gone into the characters.

A very good book. Definitely recommend to all.

Til Death We Do Part by Bruno Beaches is a story of love, comparability, resonance and unexpected turns in life through the waves of time. The story with minute details of the golden old school type relationship struggling with the real-life situational crisis. The story of a common man conforming with tedious tides of day-to-day life.
Pablo is a dedicated police officer who is proud of his long marriage and loving family. He has attained the milestones one wishes for in life, both with his family and career, through decades of quiet commitment and single-minded devotion. Pablo enjoyed the variety and adrenaline rush of challenging police work, but he preferred peace at home. He enjoyed gardening and DIY projects. These problems ate up a lot of his time and energy, leaving him with little time to spend with his beloved wife and family. He and Delilah worked together like clockwork. They had an intimate bond, which they both enjoyed. But time never flows still in a straight line.
A malicious spurious complaint at work should have had little impact on his life, but it sets off a chain reaction, and he soon finds himself unexpectedly dismissed, divorced, homeless, and with a criminal record.
WHAT WERE THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIM?
WHY HIS LIFE GOT DESTROYED BY SUCH ALLEGATIONS?
    DID HE TAKE ANY DEFENCE?
that's the gold dust of the story which will surely resonate with you as it did with me!

TBH, you may feel the story at a slow pace sometimes but that's the essence to engulf the emotions and bonding of the couple by reading through the letters exchanges and diary entries during the separation period. The letters are so overwhelming that you can feel how the love birds are so enticingly connected that even after more than 3 years of their separation they still shed tears for the other. There's a hint of drug abuse for a tinge of awareness.

While finding the justification of the title I interpreted my best of imagination and while at the ending they are not together and Pablo trying to return to the normal pace! Will there be a second part? I am eagerly waiting for it!

I felt the character of the male to be quite helpless at several times when he did his part efficiently yet get blamed for what he didn't do. Bring Ghosted by his beloved is a blow to his mental well-being. Other than the main protagonists, the character Henry was my favourite, a true friend to Pablo. I would highly recommend this book to everyone.

The lovely book cover depicts the heartbreaking separation of a married couple, literally with two pieces of a broken heart and love bands.

Pablo was a police officer who helped drug-addict criminals get better with their addiction, creating a win-win situation by reducing crime and making them healthier. He was happily married for 29 years to a loving wife and had raised four children. One day his duty is changed and another fine day he is informed that there has been a mailicious complaint of harassment against Pablo, made by a former addict and he can't continue his assigned work until the complaint is dealt with, and that is an unknown period of time! Soon a series of other unfortunate events begins for Pablo including him losing his marriage, his job, and his home.

The initial two chapters had a lot of information about the police work that made me a bit lazy while reading, but with the third chapter the book picked up the pace, and then I just couldn't put it down. While reading the book I was feeling awful for Pablo, because he was such a good-hearted person who didn't deserve so much of problems in his life. Why do good people face the worst of times, it's still a rhetorical question that lingers on my mind.

The communication between the couple was mere letters and texts, I was bound to love this book as I like anything with an epistolary element. I loved the poem that Pablo wrote for his wife.
This isn't a story of sadness or of the unfortunate, rather a story talking about what it takes to build a strong relationship and what it takes for it to become so fragile, so vulnerable. The author's bio mentioned in the book is quite relatable to Pablo and leaves me wondering if the story or part of it is actually autobiographical.

I would definitely recommend reading this marvellous creation from Bruno Beaches to everyone, after a long time I read something so good.

Imagine living a monotonous life. Now imagine receiving the enormous shock of your life. A shock that alters your routine or life at once. Something that puts your life on an edge. End your relationship with people, the trust they had in you, the bond you shared with them, the emotional attachment, all of it is in vain now. How would you feel? Broken? Numb? Because that's what happens with Pablo in this book.

Pablo is a reputed police officer but his job revolves around assisting drug addicts to get over their addiction. His way of work is quite distinct and so is his personality. Pablo is a man of heart who loves deeply, cares for his loved ones and would always cross bridges for people he loves. Everything is going smoothly until he realizes that nothing will ever be the same again.

Pablo is accused of harassing one of his clients and this deteriorates his marital life. His Wife is an introvert who likes to keep herself limited from the outside world. What would you do if your husband is accused of harassing a woman? Broken. Shattered. Horrified. His wife struggles a lot to accept the reality but wait, is this for real or a trap laid down for Pablo?

When you live with someone for over 30 years, you become more than Husband and Wife. You see life pass by, you witness your babies grow into an adult, you embrace aging together and you imagine how your life would be together after you retire. Such is the joy of growing old with someone you love. But sometimes you are wrong or maybe ""wronged"". You don't realize how bad things are falling apart until they do.

The book revolves around fragile relationships, broken state, loneliness, deceptions, divorce, unconditional love, trust that once was there but not anymore. It is slow in narration but gradually picks pace accordingly. Some of the things felt too dragged which could be avoided accordingly. The characters are portrayed in detail that leaves no doubt about their personality. The cliffhanger by the end suggests a sequel. Read this if you want to read about the Uncertainty of life and its events.

This is a heart breaking story of an honest and hardworking police officer Pablo. Pablo was a local police officer who worked with the rehabilitation of drug addicts. He was married to beautiful Delilah since last 28 years who was a homemaker . Everything was going on smoothly till a complaint of harassment was lodged against him by one of his female client. This incident raises difference between Pablo and Delilah and a rift is created in their married life .
    Was Pablo really guilty ?
Will hé be able to save his married life ?

When I picked the book I thought it’s going to be crime thriller or murder mystery but later on I found that author has slowly and convincingly shifted the plot to an emotional track . Pablo’s immense love for Delilah and his never ending desire to be with Delilah breaks your heart . The story tells us various aspects of married life and focuses on forgiving and giving chance to other person.
I loved the way author has used letter as a medium for both Pablo and Delilah to pour their heart.
Only thing which I found unconvincing is the character of Pablo .
The concept of the story , narration and the language are all flawless but a little more editing would have enhanced the reading experience.
    Beautifully crafted book !!!

Pablo is a police officer who is married to his childhood sweetheart Deliah for the past 29 years. Their lives are simple yet content.
But all this changes one day. A harassment complaint is filed against Pablo by one of his former clients. From there on everything starts going downhill. Not only is he suspended from the job but Deliah is also asking for a divorce.
My first thought after reading the blurb was that it is a thriller. The novel actually focuses on the human emotions and psychology behind relationships.
I would have preferred if the story was written in the first person's POV instead of 3rd person's. Initially, I felt sorry for Pablo but after a time he felt irritating to me. Even Deliah. Who's the side we got to know through her diary entries.
The book is slow-paced and takes place over the course of 4 years. The book indeed gives a valuable lesson about letting go. Nothing good happens if we hold onto things too tightly.

The story ended on a cliffhanger so I feel there will be a sequel!

This is definitely a new kind of read for me and I'm glad I read this one!

Till death we do part by Bruno Beaches is about Pablo who is a hardworking police officer nearing the age of retirement. He has a wonderful wife and 4 children. Everything was going pretty well for him until a false accusation turned his life miserable. In a matter of few days, he finds himself shockingly dismissed, divorced, without a home, and with a criminal record.

I liked the storyline and found it to be unique but I wish it had something more to keep a reader hooked. I saw myself getting bored and skipped at times.

The writing was heart-touching, it made me connect with the character Pablo and feel bad for him, how gradually his life falls apart which took him decades of devotion and quiet dedication to bring together. Though I didn't quite enjoy the unnecessary detailing which further lengthened the book and those were the parts I had to skip.

It's a character-driven book where Pablo as the protagonist was strong and I really liked his character, as well as the side characters. They are well-crafted.

All in all, it's a sad meaningful read.

This is an aspirational book. This is a story of determination. Pablo, a police officer, family man in his middle age believes everything is going well for him. Soon, a false accusation turns his life upside down. This situation brings him from riches to rags.

Pablo holds firm to his dignity, resolve, faith, love and independence. His optimism sweeps through the book like a searchlight, scattering clouds and darks thoughts to the wind. I appreciate knowing Pablo and his emotional experience and admire his strength and determination.

This is a necessary book for people to see and reflect on their own experience. Realizing life can be change in a blink of an eye, losing everything you have, that not everyone encounter in a lifetime. I would recommend everyone to read this book, take into consideration misunderstanding and lose and realize it is not a choice and that everyone has a story but no one will listen.
