Frances was born at the beginning of World War II in Kent. Her sister followed five years later. Frances married and had two children. She moved around with her husband, living in Essex, Yorkshire, Greece and Berkshire. Her first husband died aged 50. Frances married again five years later and went to live in Wales, where farming is what she loves most.
