Carole Crespan resides at the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. A retired primary school teacher, this is Carole’s first book, inspired by the many walks she had with her own father. Point Cartwright, a famous Sunshine Coast landmark is the setting for the book. Carole has three adult children and seven grandchildren. Her interests include walking, cooking and art.
Walking With Dad is a beautiful book for many reasons. It’s written from the child’s point of view, it sparks conversation about things they might see on their own walk, it’s a counting book but also tells a story & it looks at positive relationships between a child and parent. Having been an early childhood teacher for 36 years I know a great book when I see one. I’m sure all children will love this book.
