What a Wicked Web We Weave is a novel full of mystery, intrigue, murder, revenge, fraud and betrayal amongst many other things. It has several twists and turns as you get enthralled into each chapter and it will leave the reader in suspense and at the edge of their seat, right up to the end.

After spending ten years working for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), Tony Lodge finally lands the job of his dreams in the fraud department. He gets thrown in at the deep end when they receive an anonymous phone call, asking them to investigate one of their managers. Being the new kid on the block, it was easier for the department to put him on the case, as it was thought to be a hoax.

As Tony gets deeper and deeper into the investigation, things start to unfold and point him in the direction of someone a lot closer to home than he imagined. Tony tracks back in time to when the office the senior manager in question moved to when it opened a few years before. This is when the investigation starts to throw open suspicious deaths and an episode of mystery.

I hope you enjoy reading my first novel, What a Wicked Web We Weave, as much as I enjoyed writing it.

William G. R. Hamilton was born in Glasgow in February 1960. After leaving his homeland when his father passed away in January 1980 he has covered the length and breadth of England looking to find his fortune. William has been married to his wife Lisa for the past 23 years and has two children, Graeme and Eva. He has worked in various roles from a barman to a General Manager in his career and has enjoyed every minute of it.

The idea to write a novel came totally out of the blue and has sparked his imagination into overdrive. This is where he hopes that his readers are impressed and share the same enthusiasm and adventurous concepts as himself.

He really enjoys writing after starting less than 12 months ago. Since completing this thriller, Hamilton has almost completed the sequel to What a Wicked Web We Weave, as well as finishing two children’s books under the pen name George Rosling.

He hopes to keep the readers on the edge of their seats with Tony Lodge and company for at least five novels and who knows, maybe many more.

William hopes you enjoy reading What a Wicked Web We Weave as much he enjoyed writing it…

This book is enthralling and keeps your interest to the stage of capturing your attention till the last chapter of the book......it looks as though the storyline leads you into thinking that a sequel is in the making and if so I look forward to reading this very much.......I haven't seen any work from the author before but I will be looking out in case anything else appears with the author's name for the future ........well done for your first novel Mr. W G Hamilton

This book was extremely enjoyable to read and kept my interest from chapter to chapter. It links sub stories well together in each chapter and keeps your interest throughout the book. The main character is believable and gets into his rhythm as the story unfolds. For his first effort at a Thriller Novel this is brilliant and im sure it has a sequel to follow going on how the story ends.......I look forward to another enjoyable read...
