They move into the town of Brumby Flat in the middle of a drought. The place is notorious for crime, murder, and accidental deaths. After the death of a mysterious man, a city-based detective comes to the crime scene and tries to solve the case. He has quite a few quirky characters to get information from and amongst them is the serial killer hiding in plain sight.   Portia Stanton-Noble lives in Australia. She always dreamed of becoming a writer. Portia has had experience in the telecommunications field as well as the retail sector. The Big Dead Dry is her debut, and she already has planned out and written a sequel.
