The Book Potato shop is proud to host the book reading event for the author Carmen Powell on 27th July 2019. Carmen will be reading her book Matthew and the Magic Goat to the audience. Her fans and book readers have a great chance of meeting their favourite author. Parents are highly encouraged to bring their children to the event. The book Matthew and the Magic Goat is about a boy Mathew who loses his dog Sprite while he was taking a walk in the woods. A goat comes to rescue him and his dog. After that, Mathew becomes the superhero. Who is that goat? Would Mathew be able to find his dog? Find out in this beautiful storybook. The author Carmen Powell hails from Australia. She grew up in Malta and moved to the UK. She is an award-winning teacher and early years’ specialist. Her Literature degree inspired her to write books for children to support their personal, social and emotional development. She is currently volunteer at Epsom RDA supporting disabled children.
