Don’t Miss Kate Hopkins’ Event Featuring Percy's Purr

Join us for a special event with talented children’s author Kate Hopkins on Saturday, September 7th, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Banstead Library. Kate will host a Pebble Rhyme Time for infants and toddlers aged 0-3, featuring interactive actions, rhymes, and songs to support early literacy and language development. She will also lead a story time for children aged 3-6, reading from her delightful book, Percy's Purr. Don’t miss this engaging and educational experience!

Percy's Purr, chronicles the delightful escapades of Percy, a black cat, and Pilot, a black Labrador. The book includes stories about solving Halloween mysteries, investigating spooky noises, outsmarting a grumpy wild boar, rescuing baby owls, competing in a pet talent show, discovering a mysterious bone, and helping Santa after Christmas mischief.

Kate Hopkins, a Surrey resident, enjoys long walks with her dog Pilot, who has a knack for rolling in dirt and swimming in filthy ponds. A former primary school teacher with 33 years of experience, Kate has always loved writing and sharing stories with children. Percy's Purr is her debut book.
