George Radley Will Be Launching His New Book The Therapeutic Charity Shop at Thimblemill Library
On Saturday 7th December, George Radley author of his recently published book The Therapeutic Charity Shop, will be hosting a book launch to celebrate its publication. The book launch will be held at Thimblemill Library at 10 am – 1 pm, and there will be the opportunity to meet and greet George and buy a copy of his book just in time for Christmas.
The Therapeutic Charity Shop is a general fiction novel that is a must-read for animal lovers. The story sees the main character Greg feeling very low after experiencing some personal problems but finds peace when he meets the many quirky characters at his local charity shop. These characters range from parrots to dogs and everything in between!
This book has been heavily inspired by occurrences in Radley’s own life. Three years ago, he became a volunteer at his local RSPCA Charity Shop, where he edited the newsletter. The goings-on at the charity shop and the volunteers that attended were the inspiration for this book. If you are intrigued by this story and would like to know more, pop along to his launch on the 7th December at Thimblemill Library where everyone is welcome!
