Helen Dymond to Host a Book Launch at The Church of St Annes and St Andrew
Mark your calendar for the 30th November. Helen Dymond, the author of Finding Handel, will be having a book launch event in her neighbourhood. The venue is The Church of St Annes and St Andrew at Salusbury Road, in Queens Park. The timings of this event are 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
Finding Handel is a modern-contemporary tale that takes a look into the life of Handel as a sixty-five-year-old man who is on a journey through Holland. By a stroke of bad luck, he gets injured in a bad road accident. He is rescued by the most intriguing couple, watching them deal with their lives and still going on day by day. Handel goes through an emotional and inner journey of self-realisation that makes him think about the life that he has lived. He questions many things that he has never done before.
Helen Dymond has been an educator for forty years. She has been teaching English language and humanities. Helen has a great fondness for the work of Handel. She has sung in the Hadel Opera Chorus in the 1980s. She has put forward research for the Channel 4 Film, starring Simon Callow.
