Better Read than Dead Bookshop in Newtown, Sydney will be hosting the book launch ceremony for Larry Boyd’s ‘Choice Boy’. The author will be present there at the event for the promotion of his book. This book is about the story of a lost boy, Josh, who loses his mother in the very early stage of life. He is left alone in this world with no proper guidance. Isolated by the grief from his father and he is nowhere to be located. Indulging himself in one bad habit to another, he ends up in the world of drugs, crime and sex work. Can they survive each other’s blows and the onslaught of the other? The author, Larry Boyd is the director of Different Degrees Theatre Ensemble. He has worked for twenty years in the field of disability art and before that, he has been a lawyer, teacher, arts administrator, youth worker and actor.
