Listen to Alistair Paterson’s mesmerizing poetry at the Devonport Public Library
Alistair Paterson, the famed poet and fiction writer, will be in attendance at the Devonport Public Library in March to cast the magic of his poetry. He will read some of his stanzas in an event for the launch of the Poetry New Zealand Yearbook 2018.
His latest work of fiction is ‘Passant: A Journey to Elsewhere’, that takes us back to the 1930s, where the protagonist shares his experience of Great Depression and World War II.
The family is hit with tragedy and is torn apart. The story takes us through what the hero of the story experienced firsthand. His illness, a dangerous medical procedure, and the psychological impact of everything that he has gone through show the survival instinct and determination of the boy.
Paterson, is a rare talent and a chance to hear him read his poetry will be amazing for everyone who is a fan of his writing.
