Margret Scott, the Author of Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport will be Visiting a School
Bangert Elementary School has requested a full day visit by Margret Scott, the author of Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport. Margret will spend an entire day with the young students and talk to them about reading books and their pets. She will also share her experience of writing a book about her pet.
Jimmy Gets a Pet Passport is a storybook about a lovable and gentle Dalmatian. She lives in North Carolina and her name is Jimmy. When she turns three she needs to visit her family in Scotland. In order to get her passport, she needs to visit the vet but she is afraid of the visit and is feeling anxious. Would she be able to be brave and face her fears?
Margret Scott spent her early years in the North East of Scotland. She earned her degree in Sports Development and Health Promotion at University. In Northern Georgia, she worked as a Camp Counsellor, Unit Leader and Sports Director. She also worked as an Operations/Program Assistant at YMCA Camp Sea Gull/Camp Seafarer where she met Jimmy.
