Rose Miller to Read Her Children's Book, Alex and His Magic Dragon, at Stalybridge Library
Rose is a children’s author from Stalybridge, Greater Manchester. She will be reading an excerpt from her recently published book, Alex and his Magic Dragon. This event will be taking place on Saturday 16th November, at 11am – 12pm and again at 1pm – 2pm.
This story follows a boy named Alex, who loves going to school and playing football. There are also things that he doesn’t like doing, such as going to bed at 9pm and listening to his sister play the flute. Alex seeks help in the form of a magic dragon egg cup called Flicker. This collection of stories follows the adventures of Alex and his magical dragon, who can bring fun and magic at just the flick of his tail!
The author of this magical book, Rose Miller, is rich with life-experience. She has two married sons and two grandchildren. She worked abroad for many years in Malta, Libya and Saudi Arabia, and taught English to young Arabic children during her time there.
