When Disparate Voices Rise In Unison

Messages sent – truthful and rational, or harmful – can be masked under many veils of values, beliefs, or interests, where the hearts and minds of the receivers can become blinded by false promises and questionable paths. Faith and free will can be a unifying force amongst peoples, yet when mysterious events unfold, a door can open for many questionable elements to enter the arena and offer solutions.  
The hidden hands of power can influence every facet of society – visibly, and invisibly – where silk strings and shackles can distort and divide the path of every decision and question many core values and beliefs. All messages received need to be decoded by peeling away at all the masks, so that the true meaning is revealed and understood.
Ambiguity and deceit can sometimes be hidden in plain sight while seeking ways to bend the will of those whose eyes, ears, hearts, and minds are not tuned into the true meaning of a proposal. Those who can wisely decode, interpret, and respond to messages sent with wisdom and solidarity always remain the true victors and restore harmony.

Wanaka

Hound has a particularly strong sense of smell. He can smell the memories of people and can smell them so strongly in fact that they appear before him as if something real and touchable. In these memories, Hound can walk and talk with the ghosts of people’s past, and—this is the important part—he can make changes, both big and small, wherever he wishes. He may direct someone left instead of right, say something that had not been said before, or even remove a person or event that had bothered the memory keeper.

Men pay Hound to kill their ghosts—to destroy some of their most burdensome memories. They pay him handsomely for his services.

Recently, though, Hound has grown tired of murdering the ghosts of rich, well-to-do men. The violence has taken its toll. He is tired and wants nothing more than to settle down. He wants a simple life, freed from men’s violent histories.

He is tired of being alone with his smells. He needs a friend, someone he can talk to and confide in.

And then one day, he meets Jesse, a man with many ghosts, and together, they form a lasting, and unique, friendship in beautiful Wanaka, New Zealand.

Vorclaw

Spurred on by the unexpected loss of his wife, the military officer Baltus Blackpool plans to enact his revenge by dismantling the decadent ruling council of Vorclaw by building his own cult—The Black Masks! Meanwhile, his son Dru bonds with others and delves into a less respectable career path that his father is forced to embrace. 

Magnus Foehammer, the infallible right hand of Baltus, rears an orphaned elf he names Leif. The elf, raised as a human alongside his adopted brother Bjorn, has no memory of his past but has an uncanny propensity towards good. 

Leif and Bjorn bond with Dru Blackpool and all three follow their own fathers’ footsteps into the army. However, they get caught up in Baltus Blackpool’s plans to overtake the Vorclaw while falling into their own misfortunes involving deceit, magic and a quest to save Leif from the vampiress and her arch-goblin hoards! 

Until the Last Drop

While there, she meets Blekket Elrod, who intrigues, annoys, and charms her with his large ego and even bigger heart. Through falling in love with him, she discovers that what she’d been taught to believe about the conflict between the two kingdoms may not be the truth, and must determine which side she’s really on, even if that means going to war against her family.

Transfigured Sea

On the shores of the ocean, Laura and Daphne fantasise that they are mother and daughter, mother and Sea Sprite. They both have problems in their past, which they need to resolve. They set out to explore every aspect of the sea, from an estuary and mangroves to Antarctic waters and the deep ocean. Mother Sea is a whisper of emotion and a memory of intuition. She dwells in the subconscious. Sea creatures abound, from sea urchins and stingrays to dolphins and sharks. Some of these parallel the behaviour of the women. Sea nymphs accompany them and they are assisted by a special conch shell. While they are exploring the sea, the women also explore their own make-ups. Laura remembers interactions with her own mother. Daphne needs healing. However, they have no idea of the profound changes which will come to them.

Poems are scattered throughout the book, which is also poetic.

Tracon

A weekend fling was exactly what Maggie needed before heading back to work on Monday, and the cowboy who came with a solid guarantee of disappearing by Sunday, perfect! But Devlin has other plans. The first stage of which is to get himself and Maggie out of the country before they both get murdered. Timeless Revenge

In 1972, the story begins and ends in 2002. After a covert operation in 1972 during the closing stages of the Vietnam War, a team of British SAS troopers was flown from their training base in Borneo through to Thailand to assist a CIA operation in Vietnam. The rendezvous was to at all times be of a covert nature and never exposed to media.

During this operation, the SAS uncover atrocities by the CIA team on local village communities. This leads to a fiery confrontation between the two groups resulting in casualties. The SAS team complete their mission objective of bringing out a prominent North Vietnamese official but because of the altercation between the teams, they were forced into an alternative evacuation plan.

The CIA having been faced with the fact of the atrocities being known and the loss of their colleagues by the SAS go on a mission of vengeance which lasts over thirty years.

Tikka

A book for doggie people but also ghost lovers. This is definitely a ghost book and good and evil fight with each other against a background of the moors. The ghost dog Tikka is all that stands between his master’s evil force and a place in the hereafter. Caught up in the titanic struggle is a schoolboy whose love for Tikka puts him in terrible danger. Past and present are blended.
