Rivertown
The tragic accidental drowning of Thomas’ younger brother results in the decimation of his family. Thomas’ father, unable to deal with the loss, turns to violence and alcohol, and his mother, as an attempt to extricate herself from the abuse, makes a failed attempt to kill his father, sending her to prison.
Thomas spends the rest of his life attempting to assuage his guilt, as he blames himself for the death of his brother. He seeks peace initially through life in a monastery, subsequently moving to London where he meets Iris, through whom he achieves a partial healing.
The story of Rivertown reflects the meaningful contrast between hardship and prosperity in which the outcome of relative coexistence within such differences may result in an appreciation of natural truth and virtue.

Reichsburger Resurgence
The Reichsbürger Movement (Citizens of the Reich) have been gaining momentum in Germany for some time. This was witnessed by us all in December 2022 when German Polizei raided several locations arresting leading figures within the country including an aristocrat, a member of parliament and military figures to name but a few. Almost half of arrests took place in the southern states of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. The Movement’s strategy was to overthrow the current federal government and replace it using violence if necessary.
“Reichsbürger Resurgence” commences slightly earlier in September / October 2022, as investigations initially focussing on a diamond smuggling operation soon progress into a credible threat of international consequence. It becomes apparent the Reichsbürger Movement have a sophisticated operation deep in the hills of Bavaria which following decades of planning as far back as WW2 is only days away from full implementation to not simply overthrow the Federal government but world domination their ultimate goal.
The efforts of a small group of individuals faced with the task of preventing the success of the Reichsbürger plot is told here and just perhaps some of the information gleaned from these events aid the authorities in the near future. Fact can indeed be stranger than fiction at times!

Razor in the Wind
Only once before has a fascination for a falcon resulted in a prose-poetry novel.
Forty years since J. A. Baker’s The Peregrine, here comes Razor in the Wind.
This novel follows a pair of hobbies across the skies of their summer, vividly painted in poetic vignettes based on years of observations, here condensed to a single season.
Only the most spectacularly successful of hunts will mean the survival of the hobbies’ young and the next generation of falcons, before autumn sees them and their newly fledged family leave for Africa.
Based entirely on personal observations and a rare insight into a falcon’s world, what follows has almost never been done before.
Unique in the complete absence of any person in a novel – even the author is almost entirely silent and invisible – this book is nonetheless a meditative and human one, in which the reader can soar with the hobby and live the season while lost in nature.

Philosophical Muse and Stuff 'n' Nonsense
Stephen Peter Oldham is relatively new to the poetry scene. In his first book, he explores the issues facing ‘Modern Man’ through poetry, muse and stories in his original style of ‘Real Fiction’. Stephen examines issues facing humanity at this time as diverse as the family unit, drug and alcohol abuse, mental health, creation and revelations of prophesy! In this unique book, there are many questions raised which may one day lead to the ultimate question. Who are we and just what is it that we are supposed to be doing here! Take your time and enjoy his rhymes or read more purposeful perhaps. Designed to entertain, Philosophical Muse will certainly make you ask questions!

Persistent
People are affected by the good times and the bad times in their life. This has always been the case. However, when we go through acutely intense emotional experiences, as some people do, are we truly aware of how we’ve been affected? Or do we try to mitigate the effect of the experience? Do we perhaps consciously disassociate from the experience? In this, the second novel in the series, we learn more of the story of Michael’s life as we get to follow him through certain very intense experiences that change him over the course of his life. Most of the time, Michael is not aware of how much he has changed and who he has become. Michael’s life is a fascinating look at how his mind interprets his changes so they are acceptable. Follow along with Michael as he lives his life.
