The Rubbish Bin Cat
It’s rubbish day and Sonny is a greedy, sneaky cat who loves getting into rubbish bins. Even though he has a nice home, kind owners and only the best quality cat food, Sonny still enjoys rummaging around in the neighbourhood’s rubbish looking for things to eat. One night, just before dawn, Sonny lies in wait, ready to pounce on the first bin to come out. When one does, it’s full of stuff. And it's not only food. After making an awful mess, the naughty cat finds what he’s looking for and what a feast it is! The problem is the rubbish truck has come early and now Sonny, so stuffed full of food that he fell asleep inside the bin, is in big trouble . . .

The Rock People
“Look What I’ve found!” called my grandson, who was gazing into a puddle on the Derbyshire Moors.
“Is it a Little Rock Person?” I asked…and that is where my story begins.
Rock People are very hard to find because they are camouflaged, so they look just like ordinary rocks. But they are not ordinary rocks! They are all very different little people. They have retractable arms and legs, head pipes that act as snorkels, hooks and periscopes and their amazing superpowers are hidden behind secret trap doors in their stomachs. They are armour-plated, amphibious and GREAT fun!
They move by using their tiny legs which fold up inside their bodies when they need to roll about. They don’t talk, but they have a secret tapping language that only Rock People can hear (except for Nannie, who is deaf). Sometimes, they get stuck in people’s shoes, or picked up and put into someone’s pocket, or blown away by the wind or even ‘licked up’ onto the tongue of a creature. YUCK!
The Rock Family live in a cosy, secret home inside the trunk of an ancient oak tree. They have a workshop and they build wonderful things like rockets. As you can imagine, they are ALWAYS having adventures!£7.99 -

The Peppercorn Bears
Simon Bear, Mollie, Gwen, Baby Bear, Arthur, and Benjamin Bear are “proper” bears made from soft mohair fabric with moveable joints and growlers by Helen, the owner of the gift shop. Though the bears were made to sell, Helen falls in love with their characters and she realises she can’t let them go! So the bears live together on the top shelf in the gift shop where they yearn to be involved in life “outside.”
Suspicions arise when chocolates go missing from the cabinet, and when Helen opens the shop in the morning the bears seem to have swapped places on the shelf.
In the story you can find out how the bears get out through the shop window for their adventures in and around the town. Prepare yourselves for some “ups and downs” as you read about the predicaments Baby Bear gets into (the other bears are always around to help out), and get to know Arthur before he sets off on his travels!
