Our remarkable author, Eric Brutnall, got featured by Maidenhead Advertisers for his debut children’s book, The Hope Star, on 14th February 2020. The feature quoted the author, “I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years. Through your lessons, over time you make up stories.” It also commended the author’s aspirations to publish a book before he turns 50, but just at the age of 41, he has achieved his target.

The purpose of the book is to educate the children about stars and their patterns. Izar is the brightest star in the universe and carries out kind deeds throughout her journey along the universe. One day she comes across a planet that is dark and covered in shadows. The story unfolds the beautiful journey as she breathes hope into the doomed planet.

Eric is a primary school teacher and he loves to travel around the world. he has been working as a teacher for the past eighteen years.
