Woking Writers Circle organized an event which was attended by the author Alan Dale on 18th July 2019. The details of the event were shared in an article published on the website of Working Writers Circle. The article praised and congratulated Alan for publishing his first crime thriller novel Theta Double Dot. Alan also took the writing group through the process of writing the novel.

The author Alan Dale graduated as an engineer majoring in mechanical. He has experience in the petrochemical industry along with project management. He started writing in his fifties after enrolling in the Writers Bureau Comprehensive Writing Course.
