Alfie’s Way is an expression of Tanya Kharina’s love for her son named Alfie. Taking care of all the needs of a child with autism brings a mother ever closer to her child. The book’s title fully exposes that love and a desire that the world understands the special needs of an autistic child. The book characterizes a bear who likes to stay in its shed and does not socialize much. Tanya was born in Russia and moved to England in her teen years. There, she did a Bachelor of Arts degree and alongside put together fairy tales with a child’s imagination. Being a mother, she has now attached herself to the cause of autism awareness.
