Book Reading at The Epiphany School of Global Studies for ‘Jimmy Gets a Passport’.
The Epiphany School of Global Studies was the venue for Book Reading by Children Author Margaret Scott on her book 'Jimmy gets a passport’. Everyone who was present at the reading enjoyed as the author read from her book in an uplifting way.
A story of Jimmy the Dalmatian, how she meets her new mom from Scotland in North Carolina. Jimmy was three when she had to move to Scotland which meant an aeroplane ride to meet all members of her new family. In order to do so, Jimmy needed a passport. Jimmy had to overcome her biggest fear, The Vet.
Margaret Scott is a Scottish Sports Development and Health Promotion graduate. She has worked as a Camp Counsellor, Unit leader and Sports Director at Camp Blue Ridge in Northern Georgia. She has experience as an Operation/Program Assistant in Eastern North Carolina at YMCA Camp Seagull/ Camp Seafarer. That is where she met her Dalmatian pup ‘Jimmy’. They moved to Scotland when Margaret’s mother got terminally ill. From there on words, She turned to write children books. Her inspiration is Jimmy and her life stories.
