Book Reading event held at Waiwera South School, New Zealand for ‘Kicking Goals’
A book reading event was held at Waiwera South Primary School for Shirley Deuchrass’ new book ‘Kicking Goals’. The author read the book in front of the children which they enjoyed a lot. This is a really fun book for the kids from which they can learn a lot.
The book’s story is about a young kid, Jack, who lives on a farm in the south of New Zealand. He is the eldest of his five siblings who is a shy kid. Jack doesn’t like to go to school and enjoys the company of his brothers.
He plays rugby with them in the paddock in front of their house. It is when one day, Jack has a dream which changes his life forever.
A very intriguing story for the kids to relish and share with their friends.
