Dhanmondi Road takes us back to the year 1973 when the Bangladeshi war of independence is over. The country is free but in shambles. A young Australian named Gareth McKinley comes to the country so he can work on a project for the betterment of war-affected children. But he soon realizes how difficult it is to work in a country that has just been through a war. He is faced with a crisis right after he starts working on the project. But the children involved in the project cannot be held accountable for it. So, who is to be blamed? Has the mysterious letter from Dubai got to do anything with it? R H Young was born and raised in Australia but moved to England in the early 90s. He is working in the field of social work and also works as a University Lecturer. His debut book is based on his life and work experience and the time he spent in Bangladesh in the year 1970. He is currently living in East Sussex with his partner.
