The author of ‘The Secret Files of Phineas Foster’ was invited at Brooklyn College, NY to deliver a talk for the students. She talked with Brooklyn College graduate students about literacy development in children, featuring the recently published ‘Olives, Where Are You?’, and previously published middle-grade novel, ‘The Secret Files of Phineas Foster’.
‘The Secret Files of Phineas Foster’ is a thrilling children’s novel in which thirteen-year-old Gabriel somehow gets involved in the murder mystery of his attorney father’s client. Will he be able to solve the mystery with the help of his new friend Alex and old Professor Phineas Foster?
G. B. Gurland has extensive experience with young children’s and teenagers credited to her over a forty-year-long career as an educator. Recognising the significant impact of books on children, she has recently turned towards writing and has published several workbooks and two novels for children.
