Our author, George A Smith, did a successful book signing event for his book titled A Secret Existence. The event took place on 31^st July 2021 at the Old Millmeads street party, Horsham, West Sussex. The author hopes to donate all the royalties received from the book’s sales to St Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley). He wants to donate to this facility as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude since his terminally ill daughter was taken care of by this very hospice.

George A Smith has worked as an investigator over UK and Ireland. He also extended his services in the counter-terrorism command in the UK and the USA. His book, A Secret Existence, carries a lot of impressions from his life-long career. The book revolves around people working for a UK security service. As a policy, they have to live with a cover identity. A major part of the book captures the theme of how human ties operate when the very identity of a human person is hidden. Apart from the crime scenes and criminals’ hunt, this title also touches closely upon human emotions hidden under an assumed identity.
