Michael Daly, the author of The Midnight Mannequins and Other Stories, attended a book reading event on 28^th September, at Creative Conversations at Glasgow University. The author read from his book and it was a memorable event for all in attendance, including the author who was appreciated later through a tweet by a great writer, Louise Welsh.

Michael Daly is an Irish-born author and former RAF officer. He has a rich and varied background, having served in the RAF Regiment for many years, earning an MBE for military service and the Freedom of the City of London. He enjoys writing fiction as a hobby.
