As the crisis unfolds, Grace grapples with caring for a surge of patients while managing personal and familial challenges aggravated by the pandemic. The narrative explores themes of uncertainty, resilience, and the profound impact of trauma amid unprecedented circumstances, questioning whether Grace and her loved ones can find a way through the storm.

Mirabai Bekowies, originally from Melbourne, Australia, currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children. "March Rains" marks her debut novel.
