The author Jerry Snodgrass gave a detailed interview to Author Voice website in which he has shared an insight of his inspiration for publishing his debut novel  Shadows on Diablo Ridge. Jerry said that ‘My love for the old west and the Taxes Rangers pushed me to publish the book. I have a sharp memory which enables me to put down what I know through experience on the paper’. In his comprehensive interview, he talked about his books, his writing style, his learning through writing and publishing a book and his connection with the topics on which he writes books.

A mystic and crime read Shadows on Diablo Ridge is all about avenging the murderer of Dallas’s friend. Dallas McCall is an ex combat Marine of Afghanistan War. Stranger and alone in the city of New Mexico, he sets on a mission of finding the people involved in murdering his Marine friend turned rancher, Carlos Garcia. A beautiful woman who owns and operates the local garage and gas station becomes Dallas's friend. She assists him in the investigation of Carlos's murder case. A local rancher along with his men turns against Dallas, but he does not give up on his mission. He meets many life-threatening situations while getting closer to find the killer. The author Jerry Snodgrass hails from Butler, Missouri. He joined a military school in 1957 and came out triumphed to serve in the military and federal services. His book is the result of his passion for mystery, suspense and secrets of people who live in small towns. He resides in Texas with his wife.
