Xpress Radio Cardiff spoke to Pam Craven and discussed her book ‘Visit to the Vets’. The author spoke about her love of writing and how she creates these vibrant stories for children.

In this book, the children experience an adventure of 2 cats that are off to see the vet.

The author has also added her own beautiful illustrations to the book which make the story all the more exciting for young readers.

The cats have never been on a train and it’s their first time riding it, which is very exhilarating for them. They also come across many different animals in their travel. When they reach the vet’s clinic, their adventure takes a new turn.

Mischief and fun starts when they treat the clinic as their own kingdom.

Story will come to life with the images and the kids can join the two cats at every step.

Pam is an artistic individual with a B.A (Hons) degree in ceramics.

She has been writing and illustrating books for children for a while and this is her first published book through Austin Macauley Publishing.
