‘Rebecca and Her Bushland Friends’ is now available in Adelaide
Vittoria Healey’s book ‘Rebecca and Her Bushland Friends’ hits the shelves at Dymocks Adelaide, Australia. The imaginative tale will entertain young children when they visit Rebecca and her friends.
The gentle story picks up when 8-year-old Rebecca goes to a country estate, owned by her grandmother, for a visit. The estate has a woodland, animals and birds that roam about it.
Rebecca isn’t aware of the adventure that awaits her when she arrives. A kookaburra brings her an invitation that she can’t refuse. The little girl discovers a beautiful world that she wasn’t aware of after she accepts the invitation for high tea.
Animals and birds of the bushland join her for a tea party, which surprises her. They make a request that is queer when she arrives at the party.
That is where the real adventure starts for her and her new friends.
Born in Italy, Vittoria moved to Australia at the age of 3. She has called Adelaide her home ever since. She lives there with her husband and three kids.
Fairytales and fables were her favorites from a young age. It’s always been her desire to write her own, and now it was fulfilled when this book was published by Austin Macauley.
