Our talented sci-fi fiction novelist, Anne Hampton’s novel, The Two Worlds of Geratica – Volume 2 The Mistress of Geratica, got reviewed on Night Reader Reviews, a popular book blog by Melissa Espenschied. The blog was also published on 25^th of November, 2019 on the website. The novel is from the author’s novel series, all based on Geratica, a fictional land and this is the second part. The reviewer gave it a solid rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

The book is a great follow up to the first volume. Although there is some overlap between the first volume and this one as it is a continuation of the same series and this one is set at 10 years earlier to the events of the first volume. It catches up to the current scenario readily so the time change does not distract too much from the plotline. In this volume, ‘Geratica’ is facing a time of political and economic conspiracies that threaten the queendom. They are also facing the growing threat of spies from the parallel world Geraticai who plan to carry out disruptive actions in Geratica to destabilize the world.

Anne Hampton is a versatile author and has been writing for some time now. She has written in multiple genres ranging from action, thriller, crime, mystery, romance, adult and fantasy themes. She likes to include strong female lead characters and approaches adult themes from a sexually dominant woman’s perspective as a gender switch from traditional patriarchy. Anne lives in Bristol, England with her family.
