Of the three books, The Read Shawl is about a little girl’s experience of parting with a loved one and finding new acquaintances. The Mouse in the Teapot is a story about a boy, eager to pursue his passion for cycling amid various obstacles. Sheila Tyrer Hughes, mother and a grandmother, a lab pathologist turned teacher, is fond of mysteries, ancient landscapes and the countryside. Following her passions, she has written three captivating books for children, the latest of which is The Mouse in the Teapot.
