The Spectacular Author Shirley Deuchrass Delivered a Talk at the Winton School
On 15th August 2019 the Winton School, New Zealand invited the author Shirley Deuchrass to give a talk about her book Kicking Goals. Shirley talked about self-confidence and self-belief that plays a vital role in our lives. The session began with questions from the audience which was cordially answered by the author. Then she said that self-belief is pivotal in any school-going child especially at the primary level. The discussion also included her inspirational and useful advice for children. Her book is a blend of self-defence and self-confidence for teachers.
Kicking Goals is an inspirational and helpful read for kids. The story revolves around a boy named Jack who is the youngest of five children. He likes to do anything but study. He doesn’t like going to school but likes to play rugby with his brothers. He had a dream which changes his life forever. His journey from being an ordinary boy to All Black is moving and motivating. Carrying the message of self-confidence, this book is a must-read for all.
The accomplished author Shirley Deuchrass has written down many biographical books. She started her career as a nurse but her passion for writing inspired her to become a published author.
