Author of a sports biography, Connor Murphy, got his book titled Rugby Tries and Knock Ons: Tales of a college rugby player in New England and the game that gave birth to American football, stocked at a local book store in Westerly, Rhode Island. The store places some of his books on display from the consignment to support a local author and are really supportive towards the promotion of his book.

The book consists of the tales of a college rugby player in New England and the game that gave birth to the American football. It describes the struggles, determination, failures and victories of the author’s school team competing against others in order to reach the rugby sevens tournament which is the most popular rugby tournament in the Eastside. His team advanced up to the Harvard Business School Sevens finals.  

Connor Murphy is a new writer who likes to write true stories. His professional experience includes working as a teacher and software developer. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BA in Education. He enjoys sports of all kinds. He lives with his wife Leslie (referred to as Jeannine in the story) in Rhode Island.
