The author of an acclaimed contemporary novel A Year Of The Teacher, Steve Logston, was pleased to attend his book signing ceremony on Saturday, the 18^th of January 2020. Steve interacted with the audience about the motivation and inspiration that led him to write this amazing novel and also signed the copies of his book, A Year of the Teacher.

A Year Of The Teacher is a contemporary fictional story based on the life of a college graduate who enjoys sports and playing instruments. Tony Stephens – the protagonist aspires to become a teacher but fails to find a job and eventually his relationship comes to an end with his girlfriend. He realizes he will have to work in the factory throughout his life but soon he gets a good teaching job. After an exceptional year as a teacher, he also joins a musical band, a coaching job at the school and finally reconnects with his girlfriend. Growing up in Chester, West Virginia, author Steve Logston and his wife, Joni, presently live in Highlandtown. Steve Logston is a retired teacher. He spent 35 years educating youth, he earned a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Dayton. Steve enjoys playing music and golfing in his spare time. In honour of Chelsea, he and Joni, both, promote organ donation awareness among people.
