The emerging name in the literary world, Helena Brady launched her debut novel  The Secrets of the Forest at The Hot Spot in an intimate gathering. Bray People newspaper got a chance of catching up with her. Helena was ecstatic to hold the physical copy of her novel which is a paranormal fantasy. She shared that it took her eighteen months to find a publisher and get her book published. At the gathering, the newspaper also got a chance to speak to Helena’s mother who revealed that talent and creativity run through the family but what Helena did was astonishing and remarkable. Helena is a student and managing study with her passion for writing is a bit challenging. Despite this, she has penned down five novels yet to be published. She was nominated and bagged an award at Garda Award. Her ultimate goal is to become a full-time author.

Sarah-Rose is a nubile lady who is enjoying her life with her family. But her father dies in a car accident which changes everything around her. Her mother who is into heaving drinking beats her and blames her for taking away her husband. Shocked and broken, Sarah runs away from home and goes inside the forest. Her bruises are aching like anything and in pain, she asks the forest to take her life. After spending a night in the forest, the next morning she meets some unusual creature. She believes that she is dead but that creature assures her that she is on a turning point and she is very special. Now she is regretting her decision of coming to the forest.
