Amanda de Byl is a high school teacher with over 20 years’ experience. This is her first children’s book to be published and she is excited to share her story with children around the world. As an English teacher, the importance of reading is always at the forefront of her role as a teacher and mother. Amanda is inspired by her children and husband who encouraged her to follow her own dreams and to live the motto, ‘Be brave and be kind’. When she is not teaching, she loves to dance, go camping and spending time with her family and friends.
