Audrey Smallpeice

Born in Berkshire in 1899, she grew up in an artistic household. She was briefly a Wren, in 1918. She married and moved to Exmoor in 1923 where, apart from five years in Helford, she remained. She had one daughter. Her chief interests were art, music and the countryside. She died in 1993.
