Michael R Guy

Michael Guy has a degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and his career was spent developing computer systems software. He took time out to obtain a PhD in Computing from Newcastle University. He is a Chartered Engineer. Following early retirement, he returned to university and studied Theology at the University of Birmingham. He has an MPhil in Biblical Studies which was informed by contemporary theology originating from East Africa. He is a Methodist lay preacher who takes delight in bringing the Bible to life for a congregation of non-scholars and this experience has fed into this book.
