Pam was born in 1952 in a small village in Derbyshire & comes from a working class background. Despite high expectations she failed to get into grammar school but spent many happy times at her local Secondary Modern where she became Deputy Head Girl.
Having retired from admin work, she still has ties with the local school & voluntary work within her community.
Married to Gerry in 1971 she became the mother of two boys but sadly her eldest died in 2008.
She started writing poetry about 12 years ago & has had some success when a couple of friends helped compile a small book of some of her work, proceeds of which went to charity.
